Cold wax is a beeswax-based medium mixed with oil paint to create a highly textured surface. The cold wax enables this piece to pop off the wall with vivid, bright, and energetic colors and textures. Palette knife marks are retained and this piece offers a glitchy appearance to the sky, almost like a mosaic. Hence the fitting name.
