Artist Bio
Meredith is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is evocative, organic, and atmospheric. A self-taught artist with 15 years of experience, she has developed a distinct visual language rooted in provocative abstract landscapes. Her paintings feel otherworldly yet familiar, inviting memory, emotion, and quiet reflection.
Through layered color, texture, and movement, Meredith transforms familiar environments into altered visual experiences. Her work occupies the space between recognition and distortion, as if seen through memory rather than direct observation. Collectors and viewers are often drawn to her dreamlike interpretations of landscape, described as rain-blurred cityscapes, glowing reflections at dawn and dusk, or references to geological forms such as clay, stone, and shifting landforms. Some note kaleidoscopic movement or pixelated distortions that recall early digital or video game imagery.
Material choice is central to her practice. Works in oil with cold wax or ink emphasize softness, earthiness, and organic movement, enabling ethereal, atmospheric landscapes, while acrylic allows for vibrant layers, defined line work, and an electrified palette.
Meredith’s process is intuitive and guided by flow state, allowing each piece to emerge without attachment to outcome. Across mediums, her work balances chaos and order, fluidity and structure, inviting sustained engagement and reflection on memory, perception, and the shifting nature of lived experience.
Her work has seen great success, having been shown in several galleries and exhibitions in the United States, and is included in collections owned by private collectors and institutions, including banks and boutique hotels.
